Rules and Guidelines

Revision as of 09:28, 4 September 2025 by Garrett (talk | contribs) (Added several rules to the page. Please note that these rules were borrowed, but not copy-pasted from, the Audiogames.net Forum. I read the rules of that website and wrote them from memory using my own words, and I adjusted them to fit the style of this wiki better.)

Rules and Guidelines

The rules are, and probably always will be, a work in progress. Therefore, this is not a final draft by any means. Please check back frequently for updates.

Only one account is allowed

Anonymous page creation and editing is allowed on this wiki. However, if you wish to create an account, you are only permitted to have a single account. If you create a duplicate account, you might be subject to disciplinary action. This will be reviewed on a case by case basis.

No bullying

Mistreatment of any person, user or otherwise, is disallowed here. This can include mistreatment on the basis of disability, age; race; culture; life-style choices; sexual orientation; gender; beliefs; political affiliation; intelligence; capability; and any other aspects of a person or their personality, physical or otherwise. This rule applies to all pages of the wiki, whether it's talk pages, articles, or reviews. Failure to abide by this rule will result in strict disciplinary action.

No linking to illegal material

If links to overtly illegal material are found, they will be removed, and the user who posted the link will be subject to disciplinary action. Articles created about an illegal service will also be removed. Gray area content will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. If you are the owner of content that was posted here without your consent, please contact the creator of this wiki at garrettsworld2000 (@) gmail (dot) com.

No spam

Articles identified as spam will be removed. This also includes spam on talk pages.

No vandalism

Do not edit genuine articles with false-information, self-promotion or spam.

No doxing

We take privacy very seriously here. Unauthorized sharing of personal details, including phone numbers, street addresses, security numbers, passwords, or any other information someone does not want being passed around is not excepted here. Anyone attempting to share said information will be met with swift disciplinary action.

No AI copy-paste articles

AI-assisted articles are OK, so long as you verify its sources to insure factual information is being presented. The use of AI to correct spelling and grammar is also acceptable. However, it is not acceptable to ask AI to write articles for you and copy/paste them without putting in any work. This will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

No ban evasion

If you have been banned from the wiki, you have a write to appeal the decision, (please contact the wiki creator at garrettsworld2000 (@) gmail (dot) com). However, trying to avoid the ban unofficially by creating another account or hacking the site is prohibited, and will result in your pre-existing ban being extended.

Obey bureaucrat orders

If a wiki bureaucrat asks you to do something, do it. This includes requests to stop talking about something, or to take a step back from a discussion and calm down. If you feel a wiki bureaucrat is out of line for any reason, please contact the wiki creator at garrettsworld2000 (@) gmail (dot) com, and your case will be reviewed.

Location pages must be accessibility-relevant

On location pages, please try to refrain from describing the geography, cultural history, or any other miscellaneous factors of a given location beyond the minimum amount necessary for people to understand where said locations are, and to provide necessary context regarding the accessibility of the location or lack thereof. If people wish to learn more about the geography of a given location, Wikipedia is a great resource. This rule will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
